Energy & Health

“The Intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the Rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.” Albert Einstein

Energy or Life Force is called Chi or Qi to the Chinese, Ki or Reiki in Japan, Prana in India, Baraka to the Sufi, Tsal in Tibet, Holy Spirit to the Christian, Huaca to the Peruvian, Dige to the Apache, Ka to the Egyptian, Ngai to the Masai, Moya to the Zulu………….while others interpret it as universal energy.

In the ancient world, energy was considered the living fabric of the Universe. When creative energy emerges into the physical world in a pure, unobstructed way, it creates happiness and fulfillment in our lives. When it is distorted, this leads to illness;  a result of blocking the creative forces.

Jennifer in healing roomWe all experience times when our energy seems blocked. Childhood traumas, cultural conditioning, limiting belief systems, restrictive and exhausting habits, physical and emotional injuries can all contribute. We depress great amounts of energy in order to keep ourselves from feeling pain. Every time we stop the flow of energy in a painful event, we freeze the event in both energy and time. This is what we call a block in our energy field. Shamans believe that a piece of our soul flees the body in order to help us survive. These blocks unconsciously effect our belief systems and personal behavior. We remain in denial about many areas of our lives because it seems impossible to change them. We get disconnected from our creative energy. This can effect our posture, breathing and metabolism, emotional states, perceptions, interpretations and belief systems. Small fears can grow into phobias, habitual anger, alienation, and we see manifestations in our relationships, work and creativity. We create all sorts of distractions to keep our attention away from our “pain”, addiction to food, drugs, alcohol, sex, or even perfection. Transmitting energy into the past by dwelling on painful events drains power from your body and can lead to illness.

Caroline Myss states that our bodies are living history books; our biography becomes our biology.

Healing does not always mean that the physical body recovers from an illness. It can also mean that one’s spirit has released long-held negative fears and thoughts, and this leads to a spiritual release enabling healing to occur even though one’s body is dying physically. We are then able to make the ultimate journey of liberation by “dying consciously”. The shaman understands that our Energy Field is our “essence” or the soul part of us that we all possess. It survives death and experiences infinity.

Our energy system
Our Energy Field surrounds and informs the physical body. It is a sea of living energy as indispensable to our health as the oxygen and nutrients carried by the bloodstream. This is the energetic framework  upon which the physical world rests. Everything that is created in the physical world must first exist or be created in the world of life energy.

An in-depth energetic assessment and energetic diagnosis is made. Mutual goals are set and specific healing techniques are used to sense, cleanse, balance, repair and charge, each level of the energy system. This process will enable you to consciously align yourself with your balancing system, to reinstate its wisdom and follow its guidance.

Only you can heal yourself; the process of healing is a personal journey.

This work complements traditional care, and clients are encouraged to maintain their regular medical care. Referrals are made if appropriate.

At this time of transition and change on the planet, natural or vibrational medicine will play a major part. Natural healing is not new to planet earth, but was the original system of medicine in every country. There are many other non-invasive natural alternatives available: herbal, homeopathic, cellular salts, aromatherapy, flower essences, etc. The remedies are simple products, without disturbing side effects, that are usually found in nature.
