Dreamcentre Talk

Phuzamoya Dream Centre

You are cordially invited to our next event on Saturday, 29 August 2015, at 2pm, at Phuzamoya.

Jennifer Thord-Gray will be talking about guidelines and practice for simplifying Jungian Dreamwork.

Jennifer is a qualified Energy Medicine practitioner, specialising in dreamwork.  She has studied a range of complementary health modalities, a favourite being Touch for Health Kinesiology, which is based on the ancient Chinese meridian system. She teaches yoga and has 25 years’ experience in the Iyengar style.  Given her initial background in IT, she is also involved in web design and related activities that may be required by small business.

Jennifer’s passion for Jungian studies is central to her continual striving to understand and connect with the unconscious realms.  She has regularly attended Phuzamoya Dream Centre events since the Dream Centre was opened more than 6 years ago.  The family lived at Phuzamoya for a while and, during this time, Jen was mentored in Jungian studies and Dreamwork by Dr Ian Player.  She is a keen student of Jung and continues to make good use of the extensive library of books, tapes and videos at Phuzamoya.

Jennifer will outline Jungian concepts and give insights on how to work with your dreams. This is a personal process and requires right-brain activation, a depreciated function in today’s over-rational society.  Dreams often portray the shadow elements of our psyches that have been ignored or dismissed as unpleasant and thus provide an invaluable way to explore these unconscious aspects of our personalities.  Participants are welcome to share a dream, which the group can work through together.

Jennifer lives in Howick where her healing practice is based.  She is the justifiably proud mother of two talented teenage daughters!
